My Precious!

Boy oh boy! The hooks are the best thing since sliced bread for this crocheter! I love to crochet but my hands hurt after just a little bit of gripping the small crochet hooks. The rubber grips are wonderful. Instead of a tiny crochet hook its like gripping a pencil.
This is a 9 crochets hooks ranging from 2.0 to 6.0 mm or if you prefer B to J. The hooks have a sharper point on them, so it goes in to the holes better for me. My other ones are the ones from Wal-Mart and they have blunt tip.
I crochet a lot of items for our local charity. My favorites to make are baby blankets. With this set I can easily switch from sport weight yarn to bulky with no time loss hunting for the right hook.
They even come in this cute zippered pink and black case that holds everything! This set has the 9 crochet hooks, the cute case, 20 stitch markers, a row counter AND nippers! Please remember to store your stitch markers *open*. Speaking from experience here, if you don't they will not open all the way.
Even though I received these hooks for a discounted rate for my honest review, I am buying me another set just to have on hand. I am sharing the word to all of my friends also! They ALL want my set! Here is a link to buy one for yourself! Classy Catz Crochet Hooks is the place to go!

The Fine Life!

Okay guys! I have been introduced to The Fine Life by the The Fine Life! I received their mug, infuser and tea for a review. I have got to say this set would be a good go-to Gift set for anyone!

I have a whole cabinet filled with mugs so I didn’t realize how quickly this mug would become my favorite! First things first! It is a GORGEOUS purple! When I first saw it I fell in love with the color. The color makes it very easy to find in my cabinet. I like that the mug is thick walled so it doesn’t weep and cause water marks on my table. It holds 14 ounces of hot coffee, tea or cocoa. The handle first my hands perfectly too.
After I hand washed my mug I filled it to the brim with hot tea. I got a HUGE surprise when my mug warmed up! On the outside of the mug when the mug gets warm a saying appears…. “I’m Living the Fine Life” When the contents of the mug cool off the saying isn’t apparent! No more sipping lukewarm coffee or tea! Yippee! The only downside is that the mug needs to be hand washed every time.

I just recently started drinking hot teas. Hot teas are very nice in cold Missouri winters!
Since I have began drinking hot teas I have used the bag kind. I didn’t like they way they had a *paper* taste but I endured it because I didn’t know any better. Since I have found this infuser I will not ever have that nasty paper taste in my hot tea again!
This infuser is BPA free and made of clear plastic so you can see how strong your tea is before you fill your mug. Also if you use the same mug all the time you don’t have to measure the water every time.
I like the bottom dispensing mechanism. Your tea leaves float in the water to get the most flavor out of the tea. This also comes with an adapter so you can use any size mug you desire. When I was done brewing my tea, the infuser was very simple to clean to. I never have enough time in the day so when I find something quick and easy to do I am one happy gal! All I did to clean it up was rinse the tea leaves out and dried with a soft towel. This even looks so nice I can leave it out on my counter so when I want another cup of tea it’s right on hand ready to go again!

This tea is an absolute wonderful discovery! My Hubs can vouch that I am a foodie/drink snob. I like only certain brands and I am very glad I was introduced to The Fine Life!
I bought the Raspberry Rooibos. The tin that contains the tea is sealed so you know you are getting the freshest obtainable tea. When I broke the seal, there was such a tempting divine scent that came from the tin. I HAD to make the tea ASAP!
I measured the water, heated it up to the perfect temperature and put it in my tea infuser (also from The Fine Life). I opened the tin again and sniffed the wonderful aroma and carefully measured out the tea and put in in my infuser. I let it steep about 10 minutes. While it was steeping I got a book and fluffed my pillows. When it was finished I settled in for the BEST cup of tea in my life! I added just a bit of honey for sweetness and that was it. I really wish I could fully describe how flawless and perfect this tea tasted.
